Posted on 3 March, 2016 by Chris Grigorovsky

Offices are everywhere. It’s true. You may be in one right now as you read this. If so, you’re either sitting comfortably with the energy of a thousand-watt bulb or slumped in a room of despair with the energy of a florescent one.

5 Ways to Test your Office Comfort

Whatever the context, it may be worth knowing if your desk is doing your health justice. Sitting, engrossed in our computer screens, we often fail to notice the simplest things at our workspace which go a long way into affecting our overall well-being. Sometimes you just need to take a step back and observe your surroundings.

That’s where we come in. Below are five basic questions to ask yourself to see if your desk has got the comfort factor.

Do you:

  1. Have appropriate back and wrist support?
  2. Have enough open space?
  3. Have correct lighting?
  4. Have your computer screen at arms length?
  5. Have any distractions?

Did your desk pass the test or is a resit needed? Let us know in the comment section below.
