Social Chain, a firm comprising a group of young, aspiring social media entrepreneurs, has relocated its headquarters to Bruntwood’s West Village, a community for creatively-driven businesses.
The firm was founded in 2013 by two drop outs from Manchester University; Dominic McGregor, 21 and 22 year-old Steve Bartlett. It has since become one of the largest Influencer Marketing agencies in the UK, working with such high profile clients as BBC, Disney, Smirnoff, Krispy Kreme and Spotify.
Social Chain will now occupy 3,500 sq ft on the first floor of 127 Portland Street, a location deemed a perfect fit for the firm who will join a host of other like-minded businesses.
Co-founder and COO of Social Chain, Dominic McGregor, commented: “As soon as we laid eyes on the space at 127 Portland Street, we immediately knew that this would become our new HQ.”
He continued: “Bruntwood listened, and understood our needs to make the space a fun environment where people want to work, rather than it evoke feelings of negativity associated with many workplaces.”
The office, according to Property Manager for Bruntwood, Tim Donoghue, reflects the “energy and vibrancy of the business and features a slide, Ping-Pong table, games room and even a ball pit.”
Mr Donoghue added: “We couldn’t be happier that they chose one of our buildings to take this next step and would like to welcome them whole heartedly to the West Village community.”
