A collection of unique hotels that offer a boutique hotel service with a surf chic twist is currently being marketed by Colliers International with a freehold of £4.75M.
The three recently refurbished hotels, Hebasca, An Mor and Tommy Jacks, are situated in Bude on North Cornwall’s Atlantic Coast and have a total of 70 bedrooms. It is currently owned by a local Bude family.
Director of Colliers International Hotels, Simon Wells, commented: “Three hotels in Bude sounds like a Channel 4 reality show, but is in fact a marvellous leisure concept aimed at the young and young-at-heart holidaymaker as well as North Cornwall’s surfing community.
“Accommodation ranges from the ultra-smart and chic Hebasca, the gloriously refurbished An Mor, with breathtaking views of the harbour, to the award winning Tommy Jacks- a favourite with families and the surf and skate crowd.”
The first hotel to be bought and refurbished was Hebasca back in 2012 and comprises 23 luxuriously appointed bedrooms, with a cocktail bar and a laid-back restaurant.
While An Mor has an emphasis on fun, with an unashamedly British twist and what was once the outdoor pool, is now transformed into an outdoor bar and party venue for 100 and 27 letting bedrooms.
Tommy Jacks, awarded The Times Top UK Budget Hotel 2014 and 2015, is closest to the beach and has 20 bright and comfortable rooms with a family-friendly restaurant called Sea Jacks.
Mr. Wells added: “Potential buyers shouldn’t be put off by the fun and funky approach-Tommy Jacks has already won the Times Budget hotel category two years in a row and An Morwas named as an up and coming hotel to watch for 2015.
“All three preserve their own distinct character and there is scope for joined-up management, staffing and marketing.”
“The three hotels have proven to be a very successful concept and have seen unprecedented growth in a very short time from a standing start.”
He concluded: “Words can’t really convey what this extraordinary collection is all about- I would recommend an early visit.”
