The UK’s property development and investment company, Hammerson, has announced the arrivals of two new major international retailers at Cabot Circus Shopping Centre in Bristol, COS and Monki. Both retailers are independent fashion brands under the H & M Group.
COS, a brand established in 2007 that offers modern wardrobe essentials for men, women and children, will occupy a 548 square meter retail unit in Quakers Friars. It is the first COS store to open in the South West.
Situated in the grounds of the shopping centre, its neighbouring retailers will include Michael Kors and Hugo Boss.
Monki will occupy a 344 square meter unit at the shopping centre, making it the brand’s second opening in the UK and the first outside of the Capital.
Monki specialises in selling fashion mainly for young women who are looking for something unique and creative. The shop will play a major role further attracting the younger generation.
Iain Mitchell, UK Commercial Director at Hammerson commented: “It is a great result for Cabot Circus, as well as for shoppers in the South West that these exciting international retailers have selected the centre to make their debuts.
“Already a retail, dining and leisure hub for leading global brands it is encouraging to see Cabot Circus continuing to go from strength to strength as occupiers look to expand across the UK into the very best regional destinations. “
Both of the brands are set to open before Christmas 2016.
