London, a central hub for UK businesses means the price for workspace is significantly higher than the rest of the country. As a result, a start-up business may end up relocating outside of London.

ContainerVille, located in Shoreditch is an “affordable start-up hub”, which was made available to the public in the summer of 2014. What is so unique about ContainerVille is that it contains several office spaces converted from storage containers.

The development is made up of 45 compact container box-like spaces, similar to Boxpark which is a shipping container pop-up mall, only a 10 minute walk way. ContainerVille, unlike, Boxpark will be purely for the office use rather than retail.

Shoreditch has quickly become a successful pop-up hotspot, attracting the London trendies.

Compared to the average Shoreditch office rent price of £2,166, Containerville pop-up office is priced at £1,200 a month for a whole container including all the bills and serviced charges, providing a cheaper and trendy option.
