With the Olympics currently plastered all over the TV, some of us may be feeling left out. But not to worry as you can have your own mini Olympic Games right in your office at work.
Obviously I am not suggesting you turn up for work next Monday is full running kit, sweat bands and water bottle at the ready – but you can do if you wish to. Instead, take some inspiration from the Games in London and have your own mini office Olympics.
You can do an official office Olympics by organising mini games and preparing a schedule of what and who takes part – which may give you a lot more work than there are hours in the day. Or you can host an unofficial office Olympics, which involves participating in random Olympic themed stunts in the office. A famous example of this is ‘Office Olympics – Rowing’, which you can see on the video below.
So what events can you include in your office Olympics? Anything and everything can be included, but don’t forget Health and Safety – after all it’s meant to be a bit of fun, not a disciplinary. Events you could have are:
Good luck to all the offices who participate in the office Olympics. May the best worker win!
What a great idea. but I don’t think my work place would be so keen.
I especially love the hammer game hehe
The hammer game does look great doesn’t it.
You could try water polo Lucy for a subtle game?

Thanks for the idea Movehut.
Your welcome Lucy. Glad we helped brighten up your Friday in the office.
