Two expanding health and beauty brands are moving to new premises on SEGRO’s Slough Trading Estate, the Real Estate Investment Trust has announced this week.

Leading organic beauty store Naturisimo, which specialises in the sale of natural and eco-friendly products free from harmful chemicals, toxins and pollutants, has chosen to move from its present 1,759 sq ft unit in Slough Trading Estate’s Enterprise Quarter to a new 2,992 sq ft building at 944 Yeovil Road on a five year lease.

The firm’s decision to move from the area – which forms a dedicated space for small enterprises and start-ups and supports growth through the creation of a business hub with an entrepreneurial focus – is testament to the Enterprise Quarter’s success in helping young firms grow and establish strong contacts.

Naturisimo director Peter Jackson believes that SEGRO’s business ethos fits well with his company’s aims and objectives.

He says; “As a company, Naturisimo has a strong set of ethical values and dedication to exemplar customer service levels, so where we chose to locate our company is naturally very important to us.

“Supported by SEGRO, a seamless transition into new premises at Slough Trading Estate will enable us to continue to meet our customers’ requirements and benefit from being part of the thriving business community at the estate.”

Meanwhile, skincare brand MooGoo will also join Slough Trading Estate, this time at a 5,161 sq ft unit located at 800 Oxford Avenue on a 10 year lease. The brand is already well established in its native Australia and, like Naturisimo, utilises plant oils and extracts to cater for consumers with skin problems, based on the concept of “udder cream” used in the dairy farming industry.

Leasing manager in SEGRO’s Thames Valley business unit, Louisa Kington, believes that the two brands will fit in well with the existing business community at Slough Trading Estate.

She says; “It is fantastic to be supporting these two distinctive and high-growth potential firms as they build their brands in the UK.

“Naturisimo and MooGoo are adding to the rich mix of companies operating at the Slough Trading Estate.

“Their arrival is further testimony to how SEGRO works to meet the evolving needs of its customers, from start-ups based in the Enterprise Quarter through to UK or European headquarters for global businesses.”
