The Ontario Teacher’s Pension Plan (OTPP), Canada’s largest single profession pension plan, has moved their business into 10 Portman Square in the West End of London, signing a fifteen year lease for 18,535 sq ft of second floor office space, according to an announcement made this month by British Land.
This means that the seven floor office complex is almost fully let, with other recent deals taking place with Ardagh Glass, a glass packaging maker, and investment management company Independent Franchise Partners.
Head of Office Leasing, James Danby, said that British Land is very happy to see the final upper floor being let. He added that the quality of the property is exceptional as is the quality of occupiers it has attracted.
The seven story building – which provides 113,700 sq ft of high end office space – was completed in May 2013 and designed by critically acclaimed architecture and interior design company Jestico + Whiles.
It was originally part of British Land’s 2010 Development Programme and benefits from having natural light and a beautiful view across Portman Square.
The occupiers of the other floors include Aramco Overseas Company, Aspect Capital and Arrowgrass Capital Partners.
