AG has agreed terms on a seventeen-and-a-half year lease for three of the five office space floors, in what is the biggest office transaction in the city since professional services company KPMG committed to the neighbouring 1 Sovereign Square in 2012.

Head of the Leeds office of AG, Tim Wheldon, said: “Our current building has served us well but the move to 3 Sovereign Square offers us the opportunity to plan for the requirements of our business, clients and people for the next 15 years. The space at 3 Sovereign Square is excellently well suited to our needs.”

Mr Wheldon added that location played a major role in choosing 3 Sovereign Square: “Situated just across the road from where we are now, the new building allows the firm to remain at the heart of the local business community to provide a better experience for our clients and a first class working environment for our people”.

Bruntwood director Craig Burrow, added: “Having worked with AG for a number of months on this transaction I’m delighted to announce our first pre-let at 3 Sovereign Square.

“This commitment demonstrates the strength of this commercial location which is being improved by the addition of these buildings and the inclusion of the new public realm”.

3 Sovereign Square incorporates a total of 93,240 sq ft of Grade A space across six storeys, with the street level consisting of 10,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space.

Completion of the property is expected to be the summer of 2016, with AG due to move into their space later in the same year.
