After initially revealing the plans in January, Bruntwood has confirmed that its state-of-the-art business lounge is now open in the Plaza office development in Liverpool city centre.
Located on Old Hall Street, the new flexible working facility features meeting rooms, informal seating areas and wi-fi access, and provides complimentary refreshments, magazines and newspapers.
Bruntwood has partnered with The Institute of Directors North West (IoD) to deliver the venture, designed to support businesses and guide them going forward.
The business lounge is IoD’s first outside of Manchester where their Lowry House lounge – also co-hosted by Bruntwood – has proved successful.
Director of property marketing at Bruntwood, Colin Sinclair, said: “The business lounge offers an opportunity for networking, brainstorming or simply having somewhere to unwind away from your desk, all of which are vital necessities of modern working lives.
“The IoD shares many of our values around diverse workspaces and we are confident that this brand new facility will quickly become an asset to local IoD members and our customers”.
Rachel Smith, North West regional director at IoD, added “We have around 1,800 members in the North West and are committed to giving them real added value and supporting their development in any way we can”.
Bruntwood has also confirmed this week that the redevelopment of its Manchester York Street high-rise is nearing completion. The property will provide office suites ranging in size from 1,000 sq ft to 3,500 sq ft.
Head of Sales Brad Topps said: “As part of our asset management strategy we offer a diverse mix of accommodation, suitable for an array of occupiers, within the portfolio and this building is the perfect environment for SMEs looking for high-end office space.”
