Global commercial property services company DTZ, has named Ryan Perryman as its Director of Property Management, Digital and Information Systems, for the European, Middle East and Asian (EMEA) markets. Perryman joins from Hammerson, where he was the development and investment company’s information technology director.
“Ryan will lead the enhancement of DTZ’s technological capabilities, through the continued development our client-facing business platforms as well as advising clients on ‘Intelligent Buildings’ technologies,” explained Matthew Burnham, head of UK property management.
“We are looking to provide the best service and advice to our clients through innovation and implementation of true value-add solutions and Ryan brings with him both an understanding of how technology applies to the core business and its execution at the digital interface,” said Burham, while adding: “His role will be key to supporting DTZ in delivering value through the intelligent use of technology.”
With two decades of real estate experience, on both the client and advisory side, Perryman said he was delighted to be joining DTZ during what he felt was a “period of its evolution and expansion” and he was “looking forward to working with the team to further develop their existing product and service suite, whilst supporting their growth into digital and new technology-enabled markets”.
In a separate appointment, DTZ announced the expansion of its Midlands-based investment agency team with Justin Quibell (below) joining as an Associate Director.
Recruited from D&P Holt Property Consultants in Coventry, he will be working from DTZ’s Birmingham office providing disposal, acquisition and asset management advice across a range of commercial properties.
“We are delighted to welcome Justin who brings a wealth of experience to the team,” said Jon Leedham, the Birmingham office head. “DTZ’s pool of core clients are seeking our assistance as demand for regional investment continues to increase and our relationships with both occupiers and investors ensure that we are well placed to advise on a wide spectrum of investment opportunities.”

It is also currently receiving instructions from Birmingham City Council and Network Rail to find a buyer for the Grand Central shopping centre, due to open in September.
