LaSalle Investment Management has agreed a ten-year lease on behalf of Flight Centre UK Limited, for 4,180 sq ft of office space at Lyndon House in Birmingham.
The national travel consultant has taken the entire eleventh floor at the newly refurbished property situated in the heart of Edgbaston, approximately one mile from Birmingham city centre, and in close proximity to both Five Ways and New Street stations.
The 23,513 sq ft, 16-storey office building has a prominent position on Hagley Road and is currently achieving rents in the region of £8 per sq ft.
Asset manager for LaSalle Investment Management, Edd Fitch, commented: “We have a long standing relationship with Flight Centre and are pleased to welcome the company to Lyndon House after it outgrew its previous office space.
“Lyndon House offers high quality flexible office accommodations at very competitive rents and has attracted significant interest from prospective tenants since its refurbishment”.
The global real estate investment manager was advised by JLL and Knight Frank, while Flight Centre was not represented.
LaSalle has approximately $55 billion of assets under management of private and public real estate property and debt investments.
