It has been announced that Bilfinger GVA will be using its Economic and Property Market Review Seminar on 21 January to predict what areas are the best to invest in next year.
The event is taking place at The London Stock Exchange and will be used as a platform to look into the performance of the London market compared to UK regions, and whether or not its growth over the last twelve months in transactional volumes can be sustained.
It is being chaired by Deputy Chief Executive at Centre for Cities, Andrew Carter. The keynote speech will be provided by David Smith, the Economics Editor at The Sunday Times, who will give an overview of key issues that face the UK economy and the outlook for the next twelve to twenty four months.
Also considered will be the global macro financial market and what implications this will have on the UK and real estate markets.
Head of Research at GVA, Dan Francis, will also be giving his views on the UK property market and what lies ahead, which includes returns and rental growth over the course of the year.
There will also be a panel which is invited to give a response to what has been heard and provide their thoughts on where the best investments are.
The panel will have representatives from a number of GVA’s business units, which include; Carl Potter, Head of Offices; Mark Rawstron, Senior Director in Regional Investment; Director in City Investment, Ollie Slack and Associate in Financial Consulting, Alastair Carmichael.
