The brewery already produces the largest volume of Foster’s Lager in the world. It also pumps out the biggest supply of Kronenbourg 1664 in the United Kingdom.

This sizable investment will give the company the means to increase its production by about 350 million pints per year. It will also add a new kegging line which will provide pubs with draught beer. The work will be finished next summer.

Heineken also said that it was ready to invest £58m in its Hereford cider operations. A further £18m will be spent updating selected locations of its Star Pubs & Bars.

The company’s major investments are meant to be a clear indication of Heineken’s commitment to the UK. It is committed to this country’s marketplace and investing in the right structures and facilities to ensure that it can continue to provide high-quality cider and beer products.
