Highcross Welcomes Two International Retailers to Leicester

Hammerson has announced that two new international retailers, Khaadi and Thomas Sabo are making their brand debut at Highcross shopping centre in Leicester this month.

The Pakistani multinational fashion retailer, Khaadi, opened its 2,310 sq ft store on Wednesday and specialises in creating a collection of Eastern and Western fashion trends using hand-woven fabrics, designing items like limited edition Khaas, bags, stoles and jewellery.

While global jeweller Thomas Sabo, which is highly renowned for its sterling silver and charm club collection, opened its 1,065 sq ft unit on September 4 and trading has gotten off to a promising start.

General Manager at High Cross, Jo Tallack, said regarding the new tenants: “We are delighted to welcome both Thomas Sabo and Khaadi to Highcross. They will be popular with our shoppers and a great addition to our current fashion and jewellery offering.

“Attracting global brands to Highcross reinforces the centre’s position as the region’s leading retail and leisure destinations. We will continue to focus on bringing the new retailers to the centre to ensure that we maintain the most exciting shopping experience for our customers.”

Eloise Berry, who is Operational Manager from Khaadie, added: “Khaadi is making its name as a leading fashion brand in the UK and we are thrilled to be amongst the fantastic mix of stylish and fashionable stores at Highcross. Leicester is a vibrant, diverse city and so it seemed the next logical step in our expansion.”
