Immofinanz Group opens first VIVO! shopping centre in Poland

Immofinanz Group has completed work on its first VIVO! shopping centre in Pila, Poland. The grand opening ceremony was held on October 17 with further programmes held over the weekend. City government representatives, Immofinanz Group and Rank Progress attended the festivities.

Immofinanz Group took over the property, which was formerly known as Galeria Pila from Rank Progress, the Polish developer, and the sale was finalised at the end of August.

The Group changed the name of the shopping centre, and the facility will now be called VIVO! Pila.The firm invested approximately $40.5 million in the project.

The VIVO! Shopping centre format features single story construction and a focus on fashion and entertainment to draw in consumers.

The 258,000 sq ft centre is located near the downtown area and several well-known retailers have already signed leases, including H&M, Lee-Wrangler, Martes Sport, Gino Rossi and Media Expert. The property has an occupancy rate of 91per cent.

A second VIVO! shopping centre is currently under construction and the opening is scheduled for the third quarter of 2015 in Stalowa Wola, in southwest Poland.
