1. Stoke-on-Trent:

Population – 261,302

Famous Industries – Pottery, Coal and Steel

Interesting Fact – Pop superstar, Robbie Williams was born here.

Once a booming area for the pottery industry, Stoke-on-Trent is an area that’s beginning to make a noise in the business world.

Major contributors to its economy are; Bet365, which recently had a new £30 million facility built and is set to create 600 more jobs, and Steelite, the world leading manufacturer of tabletop solutions for the hospitality sector.
