Mayfair Capital Investment Management, the UK real estate investment manager, has appointed former Rockspring Property Investment Managers’ European Director, Phil Sturdy as its new Investment Director, and has also confirmed the appointment of Laura Sweet as Asset Manager.
Mr Sturdy (above) has been brought in to support the firm’s ambitious growth plans, and, as Investment Director, will report to Chief Investment Officer Robert Palmer and will be responsible for deal origination and investment transaction across all funds.
Sturdy brings over 18 years of commercial property experience, with a 12 year stint at Rockspring prior to joining Mayfair Capital. He also had six years at CBRE as a national investment agent, where he was elected a member of the RICS in 1999.
Laura Sweet (below) arrives at Mayfair following four years at Lambert Smith Hampton, the last two of which she spent as a member of the capital markets team. As Asset Manager, her prime responsibility will be assisting with investment activities and asset management initiatives on two of Mayfair Capital’s advisory mandates, the MCPUT and MCCPT.
CIO of Mayfair Capital, Robert Palmer, commented: “We are pleased to have made these two appointments which support our ambitious growth plans.
“Phil has extensive knowledge of the funds industry and experience across all property sectors throughout the UK which will prove invaluable to us as we grow our business.”
