It has become easier to rent moving property in the London Borough of Enfield by the local council. As stated by the Enfield council, every year around 20000 people move to the borough.
These people enjoy access to available amenities that offer them with good information about their neighbourhood. The residents’ page on the council website gives information on the waste collection and also about location of the recycling bank, nearest park, chemist, doctor and other facilities.
The cabinet member for public and service delivery, Councillor Achilleas Georgiou said: “Moving for most people is massively stressful, but thanks to our new residents’ page we can make things easier.”
To this he added that the web page is just one facet of the new approach of councils towards better communications.
Enfield Council pledged earlier this week, to keep the recycling and waste collections of the borough weekly, keeping in mind the views of those living in the area.
