Offices Made Easy in Staffordshire

Business is a fast, busy environment, so, nowadays, companies don’t want to wait until an office space is tailored to their needs; instead, they just want to move in and start work straight away.

If you have an office that is workable, in a good location, it will sell or be let quickly, according to Rory Mack Associates, who are commercial estate agents based in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. Stephen Gallet, Director at the firm, stated: “If you want to sell or let, you need to have a good quality office which does not need decorating, which has on-site parking and modern internet connections.”

Supply of office space often outweighs demand, and so tenants and buyers are often fussier about finding an office that includes extras, as Stephen stated: “Over the past two years, demand for office space has dropped, so there is a plentiful supply against a relatively weak demand, and the market is very competitive.

“Decent offices will still move and we are gradually seeing more interest, but the property has to be right.”

Companies, as well as start-ups, are favouring serviced offices as they offer flexible leases and include maintenance costs within the rent. Stephen explains the reason for this, saying “We are seeing increased interest from people who may have had a redundancy payout and are starting up their own business and are looking for serviced desk/office space.

“This is developing at exactly the same time as office owners need to make every square foot work for them and pay its way. If you can find an unused area and turn it into a working area, you might very well find a tenant.”

Do you work in a serviced office? Would you prefer to, or do you think it wouldn’t make any difference to your day in the office?
