The SBID awards ceremony, which takes place at the Dorchester Hotel on Friday 27 November, is one of the most anticipated events on the interior design industry calendar, with winners benefitting from extensive press and social media exposure.

This year’s competition has attracted the largest selection of finalists to date in the 14 categories – which include Office Space, Retail Design, Hotel Design, Restaurant & Bar Design and Healthcare Design -with entries coming from 41 countries.

The public are now invited to vote for their favourite finalists, which will count for 30 per cent of the final results, with voting closing at 5.30pm on Friday 18 September.

The winners will be decided by an amalgamation of the judge’s and public votes, with the overall winner receiving the crystal SBID International Design Awards 2015 trophy (pictured). In addition, all the winners and finalists will be featured in The Global Interior Design 2015 coffee table book.

This year’s panel of judges includes Sir Michael Dixon, Director of the Natural History Museum, Lewis Carnie, Head of Programmes at BBC Radio 2 &6 and Robert Hudson, Chief Executive of the National Association of Shopfitters.

Sponsors include ABB Group, Natuzzi Italia, Maison & Objet, Wools of New Zealand, and Sans Souci Glass Deco, who will all be invited to SBID’s annual afternoon tea at the House of Lords in November.
