Specialist commercial property investment manager Orchard Street Investment Management has completed the first letting at the J4 Park in Camberley.
Multinational blue-chip company Siemens has signed a five-year lease on a 7,662 sq ft industrial unit, taking the occupancy rate at the park to 85 per cent. Only two units remain vacant, offering 7,658 sq ft and 7,978 sq ft. These are available to let either individually or combined.
J4 Park, 35 miles south west of central London, provides 108,124 sq ft of freehold multi-let industrial space. Orchard Street acquired the park on behalf of St James’s Place last December as part of the Orbital Portfolio, comprising six industrial estates in the South East.
Commenting on the deal, Jamie Munday, Asset Manager at Orchard Street, said: “We consider that letting to a tenant of Siemens’ pedigree reflects the high quality nature of industrial accommodation at J4 Camberley.
“The industrial and warehouse market in the Blackwater Valley remains buoyant and we expect this latest letting to provide us with the impetus to attract further tenants to the remaining vacant units at this estate.
“Furthermore, the strong level of tenant demand for our properties across the Orbital Portfolio offers exciting prospects for future income growth through effective asset management.”
Hurst Warne and Knight Frank acted for Orchard Street, while Rapleys advised Siemens.
