Property to rent in Richmond-upon-Thames: Exciting plans in Hampton North

People can now see an extra reason to consider property to rent in the London borough of Richmond-upon-Thames, after an “exciting new prospect” is announced by the council announced in the area.

Richmond Council disclosed that Hampton North will now be the borough’s first ‘uplift zone’, implying that it will be provided with the resources required to invigorate its town centre with cafes, shops, and other preferred facilities.

The cabinet member for environment and planning at the authority, Councillor Virginia Morris, says: “Our vision for Hampton North is to work with local people and businesses to invigorate this corner of our borough by creating a focal point for the community.”

She also added that the aim of the project aim is to create a ‘Hampton Square’ connecting various parts of the borough, and support local businesses to create ventures like restaurants and pubs.

Geoffrey Samuel the leader of Deputy council also added that the Hampton Square initiative could finally see people thinking of renting property in the London borough of Richmond-upon-Thames advantage from added bank branches and post offices.

This month, it was broadcasted that Richmond-upon-Thames for the first time will symbolize London in the Britain in Bloom competition in 2011
