Bristol office accommodation is in increasingly short supply, which means landlords are making refurbishment programmes a top priority in order to get their properties to the front of the queue.
This has been reported by sector specialists, Colliers International, who were appointed by Terramond, the leading commercial developer.
Colliers will let the first floor at Bristol Business Park, which offers 2,600 sq ft of cooled office space, including a kitchenette and shower facilities.
James Preece, National offices director, commented: “Although the offices already offer a mixture of open and high quality partitioned offices the landlord felt the time was right to make further improvements to the premises.”
So currently there are no new developments underway as well as a continuation of the erosion of Grade B stock to conversion schemes. The main focus is on the remaining stock, which ensures the facilities offered are as competitive as possible.
Mr Preece continued: “Bristol Business Park is one of the best out of town business parks in the area and provides quick access to both the city centre, is close to junction 1 of the M32 and accessed directly off the Avon ring road (A4174).
“The allocated parking spaces are also likely to appeal. Other occupiers on the Park include DuPont, Boeing Defence, QuinetiQ, UWE, Thales and Motability Finance.”
