Europe’s largest listed commercial property company Unibail-Rodamco, and joint venture partners Socri, have announced that British fashion brand Reiss is to open its first stand-alone store in France at their new shopping destination Polygone Riviera at Cagnes-sur-Mer.
The 3,800 sq ft store occupies a prominent corner position in the The Designer Gallery™ at the 750,000 sq ft open-air premium shopping centre which opens on 22 October. The outlet will stock Reiss’ iconic womenswear, and menswear collections along with a range of accessories.
Reiss was founded by David Reiss in 1971 and is renowned for the exceptional design and quality which has made the brand a favourite of stylish celebrities. Discussing the upcoming French Riviera opening Reiss said: “With an exclusive offer, feel and location, Polygone Riviera sets a new standard for European shopping centres.
“We expect it to have huge appeal to people living in and visiting this beautiful area, and we see a real synergy and opportunity for our brand here. With over 120 stores worldwide and 9 stores and concessions across Europe, we are looking forward to launching our first stand-alone store in France this year.”

The Designer Gallery™, which is anchored by Le Printemps department store, will also house the 4,306 sq ft Grand Playground concept offering an eclectic mix of cutting-edge products and fashions from a range of local and international designers.
Grand Playground will also act as the ‘Chief Editor’ of The Designer Gallery™, curating the artistic and cultural line-up within this district of Polygone Riviera. The remaining three districts are Quartier des Saveurs, Promenade des Palmiers and Quartier des Arcades.
In total, Polygone Riviera will house nearly 150 stores and restaurants with names such as COS, Sephora, Mauboussin and Zara already confirmed. It will also feature a next-generation 10-screen cinema.
