Space Invader Swarms Manchester Office

We are not talking about the retro game ‘Space Invaders’, which was originally released in 1978, where a player shoots horizontal lines of aliens, with a cannon to try and get as many points as possible. Instead, we are talking about the interior design company, ‘Space Invader’ who are based in Manchester.

Space Invader has recently completed a £100,000 re-fit for a Manchester office, occupied by Madhouse, an integrated marketing company. Madhouse, which occupies the 5,000 sq ft of office space, will fill the building in Deansgate with 40 agency staff, all on one floor.

Space Invaders have worked with a
number of high profile companies in
the past, which included:

  • CBRE
  • Ernst & Young
  • Marks & Spencer
  • NCC Group
  • Office for National Statistics
  • T-Mobile
  • Warburtons.

Speaking of the re-fit, Simon Millington, Director of Space Invader, expressed: “Madhouse is a forward thinking, creative agency and they wanted a space that reflected both the brand and the personalities behind it. Working within a Grade II listed building had its challenges, but by enhancing what the building already had to offer we were able to deliver a stylish and appropriate working environment for the client.”

Peter Craven, Director of Madhouse, stated his enthusiasms about moving into the new office after it took just four weeks to complete, “It’s great to see that our office now truly reflects our brand values and the creation of task driven areas is enabling staff to be more productive.”
