The project, which is scheduled to be opened by September 2015, was negotiated by North West based Construction Partnership UK (CPUK) and will consist of six two and three storey buildings. The development, which will have en-suite rooms, will be able to accommodate 331 students.

Located on Elliot Road in South West Birmingham, the new development will also include; a reception area, reading and laundry rooms, communal areas, cycle shelter and parking and external landscaping.

This is CPUK’s first major project within the West Midlands area, as their managing director, Steve Burke elaborates “This is our first major contract in the West Midlands and follows on from our first successful construction projects outside the North West in Scotland and Cumbria which we won last year”.

He added that they are getting work in various parts of the UK, with expansion being on the right path. Mr Burke also said; “It’s the latest negotiated contract for us, which I believe is the best way to get value for money for our clients”.
