Topshop Welcomes Back Kate Moss Clothing

After a three year break, Kate Moss is planning a new range of clothing to be sold in Topshop stores throughout the country.

Kate Moss originally joined Topshop to create a line of clothing in 2007, but the contract was frozen three years later. However she has been working with Kate Phelan, Topshop’s Creative Director and Katy England, who is a stylist friend of Kate’s, to create a new line to be released in spring next year.

Speaking of the collaboration, Sir Philip Green, owner of Topshop said: “The first time around was such a lot of fun, and she has been sorely missed.”

Kate’s new range will include 40 different styles, spanning across womenswear, footwear and accessories and will be available in stores from April.

In a statement, she spoke of missing working with Topshop and her joy to be back.

She said: “I have really missed being involved in the design process, and working with the team at Topshop.

“Now more than ever, with London being at the forefront of fashion…it feels like I’m back home working with Topshop.”

When Moss first joined Topshop in 2007, her clothing range proved popular – especially with the under 30’s. Many of her items were copied by fellow high street stores, especially a floral tea dress. It is not publically known why Moss stopped designing for Topshop in 2010 or indeed how long she will be back this time round.
