One of the UK’s leading serviced office space providers — which already offers commercial facilities to more than 500 enterprises — has opened its tenth centre in an established Cheshire business campus.

Solihull-headquartered United Business Centre (UBCuk) has partnered with property owners and developers to open its fully serviced office complexes across the south of England and the Midlands. Now it has moved in to Rutherford House on Birchwood Park, near Warrington, to expand its network of high-tech office and flexible desk space.

“Rutherford House is our tenth business centre and enhances our established chain of key locations across the country,” commented Richard Johnson, UBCuk’s property and acquisitions director.

“We are very familiar with Warrington, having operated business centres in Gemini and Daresbury Parks since 2008,” he added. “So, for us, it was a natural progression to move onto Birchwood Park — a move that has made even more sense in light of the recent successes of the region in terms of business growth, employment levels and the availability of a skilled and educated workforce.”

His company’s latest business hub spans the entire first floor of Rutherford House, providing just under 14,500 sq ft of open-ended workspace with furnished serviced offices, meeting rooms, information technology and telecoms provision and a fully staffed reception area.

“Ten new clients have already made Rutherford House their home, totalling nearly 90 desks, so we feel very confident that this centre is going to be a great success for both us and local businesses in the coming years,” said Johnson, who admitted UBCuk is constantly on the lookout for potential sites.

Its existing locations covers many of the England’s key business areas and transport hubs, giving clients easy access to air, rail and the motorway links.

There are UBCuk centres at Birmingham Airport and in the city centre; Brentford, Middlesex; Cirencester, Gloucestershire; Fleet, Hampshire; in the World Business Centre Two at Heathrow Airport; Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire; in Fitzroy Square central London; Southampton, Hampshire; in Endeavour House at Stansted Airport, and at Warrington North and Warrington South, near Daresbury.

“Our focus is on providing a professional serviced office workspace which is well located, while at the same time enabling us to provide competitive pricing for the quality of office space we offer,” explained Johnson.

“For this reason, many of our sites are based outside of city centres, which helps to make a  client’s commute easier and saves on expensive parking for both them and their visitors.”
