What’s Happening at Commercial Properties on New Years Eve?

Posted on 28 December, 2011 by Kirsten Kennedy

New Years Eve is traditionally one of the biggest nights of the year, with bars and commercial properties for the whole family all over the country, pulling out all the stops to attract potential customers. With thousands of people taking to the streets for parties, it is hardly surprising that many businesses see this as an opportunity to make a lot of money in one night. Not surprisingly, then, Cheshire and Staffordshire commercial properties have a selection of events planned to entice even the most Scrooge-like Christmas party goer out for some fun over the holiday season.

Highlights of the holiday calendar include the New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner at Tatton Park, Knutsford, Cheshire, which offers a five course dinner and an evening of live entertainment kicked off with a champagne reception at 7pm on the 31st. A fireworks display, a staple of the New Year’s celebration, will certainly be one to see! However, if you prefer more of a street party atmosphere, the fireworks display in Nantwich town centre always attracts a crowd, and with dozens of bars and several clubs remaining open through into the early hours of the New Year there is plenty of choice for activities before and after the display.

Commercial properties in Chester have also planned a selection of events, from clubbing to dinner parties, to see in 2012. The hugely popular Wigan Pier Night Club will be open until 3am on the 1st January 2012, but with limited tickets available it’s best to buy them while you can as it is expected to be sold out well before the 31st. For those looking for something a little different, the annual New Years Eve Cabaret and Burlesque Ball in Chester Guildhall is returning, this year with the theme of “The Egyptian Ball.”

New Year’s Eve is a time to celebrate and reflect upon the year just past, but also to look forward to things happening in the New Year. This is especially true for hotels in city centres, as due to the recession, many have seen a drop in profits from previous years. However, as many cities attract partygoers by the hundreds for this night, perhaps many businesses can finish the year on a high. Stoke-On-Trent hotels such as the Kenwood Guest House and George Hotel have decided to take advantage of the many events taking place in the city by advertising their commercial properties with specially discounted prices, making hiring a hotel room cheaper than a taxi home for many party goers. With plenty of entertainment in Stoke this New Year, it may be wise to take them up on their offers! Popular Stoke club Bar 360 has DJ’s and other live entertainment to bring in the New Year in style.

So whatever you do this New Year, remember that commercial properties all over the country have a lot to offer, and that often you need to search around to find the right event for you and your family.
