Commenting on the appointment and next month’s move from Hagley Road West to 14 Waterloo Street, David Goodchild, Managing Director of Aitchison Raffety, said: “These are exciting times for our Birmingham operation that not only welcomes a new Director but a move to modern central offices to support our continued growth and expansion.

“A prominent location in the city centre is the most natural home for our new office and we are confident that Paul and the Birmingham team will continue to develop business even further.”

Mr Arenell has worked in the city for a number of years, providing him with a wealth of experience in the area. He joins the company from the Birmingham office of Vail Williams, where he was the Valuation Director.

Aitchison Raffety is a leading practice of Chartered Surveyors and Town Planners. The Group has 17 regional offices throughout the UK, representing a diverse client base ranging from major financial institutions to international investors and developers.

The company is a recognised leader in healthcare, with its senior staff among the founding members of the Primary Care Premises Forum and Chair of the RICS Working Party, responsible for formulating RICS guidance to members and the Government in respect of healthcare premises.

The Birmingham move is part of Aitchison Raffety’s planned growth strategy and will take effect on Monday 13th July 2015. The new address is Neville House, 14 Waterloo Street, Birmingham B2 5TX and the main number will change to 0121 600 7220.

In a separate statement, Aitchison Raffety has announced that it has completed the letting of two units at Chancerygate Business Centre in Hemel Hempstead on behalf of Chancerygate (Hemel) Ltd.

Terms were agreed with the new tenant, JV Price Ltd (The Price Group), prior to the expiry of the previous occupier’s lease. The new lease is for a term of 15 years on a FRI basis.

JV Price is one of the UK’s largest window and façade cleaning contractors and the move is part of the Group’s expansion plans. The new premises will serve as a training facility for its Rope Access Division, a trade counter, a warehouse for its web based equipment sales division and a head office.
