Holiday Cottage Letting Agency Opens First Office

A national holiday cottage letting agency located in Earby has opened its first local office. The new office for Cottages4you is situated in Grassington’s main square and is the first local presence for a national holiday letting agency.

Cottages4you, which has over 10,000 properties across the UK and just has been named best self-catering/villa booking company at the 2012 British Travel Awards for the third year running, will use the retail unit as a one-stop shop, providing local support for existing proprietors and guidance for those interested in holiday letting. It will also welcome customers wanting to book a cottage retreat.

Managing director of cottages4you, Nick Rudge said: “Our research also told us that owners value a local presence and while our 47 UK-based regional managers will still be the first port of call for them, the high street location will provide a place where both our owners and customers will be able to pop in and speak to someone who can help.

“We place a great deal of importance on supporting rural communities, ensuring we promote local businesses to our holidaymakers through our Go Local campaign, so it’s a natural next step for us to have a physical presence in the heart of the communities we work in.”
