Phil Sheridan, Managing Director at Robert Half is looking forward to the move. “We are delighted to call The Shard home this autumn,” he said.

“It means that our employee teams will now reside in a single London location, which will facilitate even greater collaboration.

“The Shard is centrally located and provides convenient access and an ideal meeting setting for our clients and job candidates as well.”

The Shard is now home to 20 occupiers from a range of industry sectors including media, finance, education, luxury goods and professional services. In total, around 8,000 people work in the London Bridge Quarter, comprising The Shard and the adjacent News Building.  Approximately three-quarters of the estate is now let.

In a statement released today, The Shard’s developer and co-owner Irvine Sellar and James Goldsmith, Leasing Director of Real Estate Management (REM) said: “Robert Half is a globally recognised company and The Shard’s first specialist in professional staffing and consulting services.

“Their business agenda is entirely consistent with our own philosophy of championing workspaces that attract and retain talent.

“It will further our vision of creating Europe’s first vertical city – a building with multiple uses and businesses where people can live, work and visit – which continues to come to life and bring added vibrancy to London Bridge Quarter.

Robert Half will commence the fitting out of its new office space shortly. The company will join established tenants including Arma Partners, Duff & Phelps, Mathys & Squire, Tiffany & Co and the Warwick Business School.
