The 3.8 acre site, to be developed by property company A.C Lloyd, represents a £16 million investment into UK and European operations. Planning permission was submitted to Warwick District Council on January 28.

According to TATA, which owns Jaguar Land Rover, the investment reflects the strong outlook for UK and international opportunities.

As well as being home to the European headquarters, it will also accommodate the research and development team who will be expanding and developing in the aerospace, automotive and industrial machinery sectors.

Once completed, the site will create 200 additional jobs for programme managers and design engineers as well as providing opportunities for graduates. There will be a total of 600 members of staff in the building.

The chief operating officer of TATA Technologies Europe, Nick Sale, said about the venture: “These new headquarters showcase our ambition to continue to grow and expand TATA Technologies operations in the UK and Europe. The development marks an exciting new chapter in the company’s support of engineering excellence across the region”.

TATA Technologies are expected to move into the site in the second half of 2016.
