The latest occupier is the multinational luxury jewellery brand Tiffany & Co. which is moving from its current address on the South Bank to an 8,000 sq ft space in The Shard.

Barratt West, Tiffany’s Managing Director for UK and Ireland, is excited by the prospect of the relocation.

“We are delighted to be able to offer our UK staff a world-class office environment within this vibrant and burgeoning district of London,” he said.

Tiffany & Co.  is the fourth occupier to sign a lease with The Shard in the past three months, accounting for a combined total of over 35,000 sq ft of office space.

In a joint statement, The Shard’s developer and co-owner Irving Sellar, and James Goldsmith, Leasing Director at Real Estate Management (REM), said;

“This latest letting confirms The Shard’s appeal to major global brands and we welcome Tiffany to Europe’s first vertical city.

“The Shard is part of the increasingly vibrant London Bridge Quarter that will be accommodating more than 12,500 people within its 1.3m sq ft of net space.

“In addition a million people a year are visiting the viewing galleries, thousands more dining in the award winning restaurants and staying at the five-star Shangri-La hotel.”
