It’s All A Bit Fishy In Serviced Offices

It has been confirmed that observing fish can help to lower stress levels, blood pressure and can aid relaxation, whilst also increasing productivity of staff in a serviced office.

A variety of tests have been carried out since the late 1980s indicating that watching fish, even if on a television, can assist in reducing stress.

In today’s frantic and fast-moving society, an aquarium can offer peace, serenity and relaxation. This is the rationale behind why living aquariums can play a significant role when positioned in high-stress environments.

However, your personal surroundings do not have to be stressful in order to get pleasure from fish tanks. Other locations that would benefit include private homes, hospitals, schools, hotels and many other forms of commercial property.

Apparently, living aquariums will provide a point of interest when placed in homes, shops, serviced offices and any other form of commercial property.

Having an aquarium in your reception area or lobby will make clients feel at ease and impressed, adding to the visual appeal.

The calm movement of fish attracts the awareness of visitors and any waiting room or lobby immediately becomes more appealing, friendly and eye-catching.

According to experts, people will immediately spot an aquarium anywhere in professional offices, private residences, retirement homes, doctor’s waiting rooms, restaurants and reception areas.

There is also the Feng Shui theories; Having a fish tank can help increase positive chi in your life. When you are thinking of using a feng shui fish tank, you should think about putting eight goldfish (since gold symbolizes wealth and luck) and one black fish (to supposedly absorb any bad luck). However, if you can’t place such a big tank in your house, just keep an odd number of goldfish.

Well to be honest, i’m not so sure. Surely it simply makes sense to say that anything that looks nice and tranquil is better than a blank wall. So, I’m all for fish tanks and will be getting one for my serviced office.
